Abstract

Objective. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on the performance of employees at the upt office of Bah Bolon Irrigation Management at the Cipta Karya and Spatial Planning Office of North Sumatra Province.Research Method.There is also this research using library research design (library research) and field research (field research). Then create a method of collecting information using interview procedures, documentation procedures and questionnaire procedures. The information obtained is the type of qualitative information as well as quantitative information. The results of the information obtained from the field will be analyzed descriptively either qualitatively or quantitatively.Results.Discipline is good, enthusiasm is very high and the way employees work isvery effective. The count of a regression analysis is: Ŷ = 5.402 + 0.375X1 + 0.234 X2 the meaning is, discipline and motivation create good results for employees. The calculation of an analysis of correlation is obtained through r = 0.802 which means, having a large and effective relationship in a discipline and enthusiasm for employees in a business organization.Conclusion.The count from a provisional assumption test explains that H0 is not accepted, the point is that there is a relationship through significance in discipline and enthusiasm for employees at the UPT Office of Bah Bolon Irrigation Management for Water Resources, Cipta Karya and Spatial Planning of North Sumatra Province both simultaneously and partially. . It is all stated in the provisional provisional test which is based simultaneously, namely the f-test count of 26.101> Ftable on the significant size, namely 0.000 <0.05.Keywords :Motivation, Discipline, Employee Performance© 2021Strategic: Journal of Management Sciences.
