ANALISIS PENGARUH MOTIVASI TERHADAP KOMITMEN PEGAWAI PADA DINAS PARIWISATA KOTA PEMATANGSIANTAR

The Tourism Office is an implementation element of the local government in the field of culture and tourism in
Pematangsiantar City. The task of the Tourism Office is as executor of regional government affairs in the tourism
sector and cultural preservation in its working area. The urgency of motivation and employee commitment to work is
very important in supporting the achievement of the set organizational goals. This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of motivation on employee commitment at the Pematangsiantar Tourism Office. Respondents were 37 people. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that motivation and commitment were good, and there was a positive influence of motivation on employees .
