Abstract

The purpose of this research is: 1. to determine the picture of recruitment, commitment, and
employees performance at Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) Unit Usaha Marihat. 2. to
determine the effect of recruitment and commitment to employees performance at Pusat Penelitian
Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) Unit Usaha Marihat, either simultaneously and partially. The results of this
study can be summarised as follow: 1. recruitment and commitment and employee performance is
good. 2. the results of the regression analysis are Ŷ = 23.307 + 0.355X1 + 0.373X2 recruitment and
commitment have a positive effect on employee performance. 3. the correlation analysis results
obtained value r = 0,761 means that there is a strong and positive relationship between recruitment
and commitment with employee performance at the Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) Unit Usaha
Marihat. High or low employee performance 58% can be explained by recruitment and commitment;
4. H0 is rejected, meaning that recruitment and commitment has a positive and significant effect on
employee performance at the Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) Unit Usaha Marihat both
simultaneously and partially.
