PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN RASIO AKTIVITAS TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN PADA PT BUMI SERPONG DAMAI, TBK YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

The purpose of this research are to identify the description of profitability, activity ratio and
dividend policy and analyze the effect of profitability and activity ratio to dividend policy on PT Bumi
Serpong Damai, Tbk which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange either simultanly or partially. Methods
of analysis used in this study are descriptive analysis of qualitative methods and quantitative
descriptive analysis. The object of this research is PT Bumi Serpong Damai, Tbk which listed in the
Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2009 until 2015. The method used for data analysis in this study is the
classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, the correlation coefficient of
determination, and hypothesis test (F test and t test). Testing is done with the help of Software SPSS
version 20.
Result of analysis multiple linear regression that is = -0,072 - 0,096X1
+ 1,309X2.
This shows
that profitability have a negative effect to dividend policy and activity ratio have a positive effect to
dividend policy. The test results of correlation is r = 0,701 means that there is strong relationship
between the profitability and activity ratio with the dividend policy. From coefficient determination
dividend policy can be explained by profitability and activity ratio mounted to 49,1%, and the rest
50,9% is explained by other variables that are not discussed in this study. The research hypothesis H

is accepted with the significance level 0,259 is bigger than 5% or 0,259 > 0,05, means that profitability
and activity ratio simultanly have no significant effect to the dividend policy at PT Bumi Serpong Damai,
Tbk which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange
