PENGARUH KESEHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA SERTA LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT PLN (Persero) AREA PEMATANGSIANTAR

The purpose of this research are: 1. To determine the description of occupational health and safety,
job environment and performance at PT PLN (Persero) Pematangsiantar Area. 2. To determine the
influence of occupational health and safety of work environment at PT PLN (Persero) Pematangsiantar
Area. This research was done by using library research design and field research. The data used in
this research are qualitative and quantitative, then using primer and second data. The population used
by the author in this research is 129 correspondents, they are employees at PT PLN (Persero)
Pematangsiantar Area. The data collection was done with questionnaires, interview, and
documentation. The analysis technique used in this research was multiple linier regression, correlation
analysis and determination coficient and hyphotesis test.
Results of regression analysis is Ŷ = 11,899 + 0,910 X1 + 0,444 X2 means that occupational
health and safety has positive influence on performance. The results of the analysis obtained
correlation r = 0,787 means that there is a strong and positive relation between occupational health
and safety and work environment to employee performance. The employee performance can be
explained by occupational health and safety and work environment by 61,9%. 4. The hypothesis Ho is
rejected, it means occupational health and safety as well as job satisfaction has positive and significant
effect on the performance of employees at PT PLN (Persero) Area Pematangsiantar simultaneously
