Abstract
The purpose of this study are: 1. To know the description of the layout of the office space, plant climate
and the performance of employees at PT. Bank OCBC NISP Tbk Branch Pematangsiantar. 2. To determine the
effect of the layout of office space and plant climate on the performance of employees at PT. Bank OCBC NISP
Tbk Branch Pematangsiantar.
Results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1. The layout of the office space has been well
implemented, the existing plant is also a good climate and employee performance has also been good. 2. The
results of the regression analysis is Ŷ = 19,881+ 0,077X

, means there are positive influence between
layout of office space and a plant climate to employee performance. 3. The results of the analysis of correlation
was obtained r = 0.644, which means there is a strong and positive relationship between the layout of office
space, plant climate on employee performance. Then obtained the coefficient of determination (R Square) of
0,414 means its goodness do not of employee performance can be explained by lata office space and plant layout
climate 41,4%. 4. The research hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that means that the layout of
office space and plant climate positive and significant impact on the performance of employees at PT Bank
OCBC NISP, Tbk Pematangsiantar branch either through simulate and partial.
The suggestion of this research is to minimize the cost of using the telephone, the company can change the
arrangement of the workplace of employees with a set distance closer. Then the company can make other air
exchange tool, not only ventilation but can include doors, vents and other cooling devices to improve
performance and increase in grade (level) of employees, the company must make more training to employees to
improve their knowledge and skills.
