PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN INTELEKTUAL DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA PERUSAHAAN DAERAH AIR MINUM (PDAM) TIRTAULI KOTA PEMATANGSIANTAR

The purpose of this study are: 1. To determine description of intellectual abilities, motivation and
employee performance at Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtauli Kota Pematangsiantar. 2. To
determine the influence of Intellectual abilities and motivation to employee performance at the
Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirtauli Kota Pematangsiantar of simultaneous or partialy.
The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. The intellectual abilities is excellent, motivation is high and the performance of employees is excellent. 2. The results of regression analysis
is Ŷ = 41,050 + 0,230X1 + 1,118X2, means that intellectual ability and motivation has a positive effect to
employee performance 3. The results of the analysis correlations is r = 0,641, means that there is a
strong and positive relationship between intellectual ability and motivation with the performance of
employees. The level of employee performance can be explained by intellectual ability and motivation
as big as 41,1%. 4. The results of testing the hypothesis H0 is rejected, it means that intellectual ability
and motivation has a positive effect and significant to the performance of employees of simultaneous
or partialy.
