Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze: 1) Description of employee supervision and
performance at Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Pematangsiantar. 2) Effect of the supervision
and performance of employees at Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Pematangsiantar.This
research was conducted using qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The population in this
research are all employees at Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Pematangsiantar 28 people in
total and the authors decided the same population and sample. The independent variable in this study was an
supervision, and the dependent variable is the performance of employees. Data was collected through interviews,
technical questionnaires, and technical documentation. The analysis technique used is a simple linear regression,
and correlation coefficients of determination and hypothesis testing.
The results of the study can be concluded as follows: 1) An employee stated that the supervision are
excellent and performance of employees categorized as very good. 2) results of regression testing is = 8,193 +
0,561X means supervision has a positive influence on employee performance. 3) The value corelation r = 0,708
means that there is a strong and positive relationship between the monitoring and performance of employees at
Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Pematangsiantar. The level of employee performance can be
explained by the 50.1% control. 4) Hypothesis Ha is accepted, it means the control has a positive influence and
significant to the performance of employees at Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang
Pematangsiantar.To improve the performance of employees need additional supervision in accordance to the
wishes of employees, and improve the quality of employee performance.
