Abstract

The purpose of this research is: 1) To know the description of job stress,workplace conflicts and employee
performance at Kantor Wilayah DJP Sumut II Pematangsiantar. 2) To know the effect work stress and conflict
influence on the performance of work at Kantor Wilayah DJP Sumut II Pematangsiantar.
Result of research can be concluded as follows. 1.work stress is high labor conflict and good employee
performance. 2. The result of analysis regressing is Ŷ = 105,312 – 0,214X1 – 0,138X2, thats is jo stress and work
conflicts negatively affect employee performance. 3. Correlation analysis results obtained value r = 0,294, thats
is a low correlation between job stress, work conflict, with the employee’s performance. The level of employee
performance can be explained by the stress of work and labor conflicts by 8,6% while the remaining 91,4%
influenced by other factors such as ability, motivation, work discipline and others. 4. Hypothesis research Ho
Rejected, its means work stress and work conflict a significant negative effect on the performance of employees in
offices DJP Sumut II Pematangsiantar.
