Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to examine and analysis of: 1) the description of work dicipline and
employee performance at Naga Mas Snack Factory Pematangsiantar 2) the influence of the work discipline
against employee performance at Naga Mas Snack Factory Pematangsiantar.
This research used descriptive and Inductive methods. The population in this research is the employees at
the Naga Mas Snack Factory Pematangsiantar. While the techniques used in determining a sample on this
research is a non-probability sampling method. The data collecting techniques is done by interviewing
,observating, questionnaires, and documentating.
From this research we can conclude that: 1) work discipline on Naga Mas Snack factory Pematangsiantar
already good enough 2) there is a positive and significant influence between the work disciplines on employee
performance 3) work discipline affect the performance of the employees by 81,1%.
Advice that can be given of this research is to improve the performance of employees, the company is
expected to improve the work discipline especially in the category of goals and capabilities, exemplary
leadership, justice, compensation, punishment, sanctions, attach controlling, assertiveness, as well as the
relationship of humanity.
