PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA KANTOR WILAYAH DIREKTORAT JENDERAL PAJAK SUMUT II PEMATANGSIANTAR

The design of this research literature and field research. The population used by the author in this study is as much as 98 respondents, employees at the Kantor Wilayah DJP Sumut II Pematangsiantar. Data was collected by questionnaire, interview and documentation. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, correlation and determination coefficient and hypothesis testing by t test and F.
The results of the regression analysis is Y = 38.492 + 0,502X1 + 0,454X2, means there are positive influence between leadership styles and motivation are employee performance.The results of the analysis of correlation was obtained r = 0.622, which means that there is a strong and positive relationship between leadership style, employee motivation and performance. Analysis of obtained values of determination coefficient R square = 0.386, that is to say whether or not the employee's performance of 38.6% can be explained by the style of leadership and motivation, The research hypothesis H0 is rejected, meaning that the style of leadership and motivation positive and significant impact on the performance of employees at the Kantor Wilayah DJP Sumut II Pematangsiantar simultaneously or partially.
