Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine an anlysis of : 1) The description of the compensation and the employee performance at PT Metro Makmur Nusantara Branch Office Pematangsiantar. 2) The influence of the compensation on employee performance at PT Metro Makmur Nusantara Branch Office Pematangsiantar. The results of regression analysis was Ŷ =13,750 + 0,642X, means this research have a positive between compensation and employee performance. 3) The results of correlation value r= 0,525, that means there are ongoing and positive relantionship between compensation and performance of employees on the PT Metro Makmur Nusantara Branch Office Pematangsiantar. High performance low level employee can be expleained by compensation amountiong to PT Metro Makmur Nusantara Bracnh Office Pematangsiantar. 4) On the test of the hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that a positive effect on performance of compensation of employees in PT Metro Makmur Nusantara Branch Office Pematangsiantar.
As for the suggestions of the study was that to increase compensation, required the granting of compensation which is fair and feasible then companies need to pay attention to and set a date so that employees do not experience delays in receiving compensation and the company can provide adequate facilities and can help other employees to make faster in completing his work. To improve the performance of employees, companies need to give sanction, reprimand or warning to employees over the inaccuracy to be more careful and companies need to make the time schedule in which employees have to complete it’s work so that employees are not stalling.
