Abstract
Results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1) Compensation and motivation is good, and the existing performance is good in PT. Gatra Andalas Sejati Pematangsiantar. 2) The results of multiple regression analysis obtained the following regression equation: Y = 7.872 + 0,385X1 + 0,502X2, meaning that there is a positive influence between independent variable compensation and motivation on employee performance on PT. Gatra Andalas Sejati Jl. Medan Km. 6.5 Pematangsiantar. 3) Analysis coefficient r = 0.809, which means there is a very strong and positive relationship between compensation, motivation and performance of employees of PT. GatraAndalas Sejati Pematangsiantar. 4) The value of the coefficient of determination (KD) 0.654, which means that the level of performance of employees can be explained by 65.4% from compensation and motivation. 5) Proven by hypothesis test, there is a positive and significant influence between compensation and motivation on employee performance both Simultaneously and partially.
For the suggestion of the results, compensation and motivation is good and must be maintained and improved again by the company for the sake of compensation and motivation of good performance.
