Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study the commitment and motivation of employees at the
Investment And Integrated Permit Service Agency, Pematangsiantar Local Government. It also
examines the significance of influence of commitment and motivation. There are 42 public
officials as respondents to this research. Qualitative and quantitative Descriptive Analysis was
applied to support this research. The result shows that commitment and motivation are positive
and have influence on employees’ motivation on commitment.
