PENGARUH BUDAYA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA GURU DENGAN MOTIVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING PADA SMA SWASTA TAMANSISWA PEMATANGSIANTAR

The purpose of this my study to the description and determine the effect of school culture on
teacher job satisfaction with motivation as intervening variable at SMA Swasta Tamansiswa
Pematangsiantar. The research design used is library research and field research. The population in
this study is all the employess which amounted 34 employees. The type of data used is qualitative data
and quantitative data.Data collection is done by questionaries, interviews and documentation. The
result of the study consist of: 1. School culture is strong, motivation is good, and teacher job
satisfaction satisfied. 2. There is positive effect between school culture on motivationas evidenced by
the regression resultsZ = 19,786 = 0,463Xand there is positive correlation effect between motivation
on teacher job satisfaction as evidenced by the regression results Ý = 12,097 + 1,315Z. 3. there is
moderately correlation and positive correlation between school culture with motivationas evidenced
by the value of r = 0,547 and the determination value of 29,9% and there is moderately high and
positive correlation between motivation with teacher job satisfaction as evidenced by the value of r =
0,731and the determination value of 53,5%.4. Hypothesis test result state that H0 is rejected, meaning
that school culture has positive and significant effect on motivation; and motivation significant effect
on teacher job satisfaction
